Tap "+" on the Dashboard or Holdings tab and search any ticker in English (AAPL, TSLA) or Chinese (比亚迪, 腾讯, 茅台), then enter your quantity, cost and fees. On iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence you can also just type a sentence like "bought 100 Apple at $190 in Futu". Pro subscribers can batch-add holdings from brokerage screenshots.

Pick one or more screenshots from your brokerage app (Robinhood, Futu, 蛋卷基金, 天天基金, etc.) and FolioX extracts each holding. It handles regular stock rows directly, and for fund lists that only show names and amounts it looks up each fund's current NAV and works out your quantity and cost from the value, gain and return columns. Chinese and English fund names are matched to tickers automatically, and every parsed row stays editable before you tap Import. Pro feature.

Yes. Your holdings, transactions and accounts are stored on your device with Apple's SwiftData framework, and we keep no copy of your portfolio. Price lookups send only ticker symbols — never your quantities, costs or balances. If you use Screenshot Import, the text read from your screenshots is sent to be parsed and is not stored. FolioX also collects anonymous usage and crash analytics that never include your holdings. See the Privacy Policy for details.

With FolioX Pro, your portfolio and reminders sync through your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. Your data travels between your devices through Apple's infrastructure — we never see or store it.

US stock and cryptocurrency quotes are real-time, and US stocks also show pre-market and after-hours prices. Other markets (China A-shares, Hong Kong, Japan, UK, Europe) may be delayed 15–20 minutes due to exchange licensing. All market data is for informational purposes only.

Mutual funds publish one price (NAV) per trading day, usually a few hours after the market closes. From the open until that price is published, the day's change is genuinely unknown, so FolioX shows "NAV pending" and leaves the fund out of today's P&L rather than repeating yesterday's return. Once the NAV posts, the day's real change appears.

Open the portfolio chart and tap through to see every trading day's gain or loss in a calendar. Past days are rebuilt from historical market prices, so the calendar stays complete even on days you didn't open the app. Purchases and sales are taken out, so a day's figure reflects market moves rather than money you added. Long-press a day to share it as an image.

Record cash dividends yourself or sync historical dividends with one tap. FolioX shows yield on cost, year-to-date and trailing 12-month income, and monthly income in a bar chart. DRIP (reinvestment) transactions are paired automatically. Dividend tracking is a Pro feature.

Yes. Free users can set one daily reminder. Pro users can create several — for example one at each market close (US, A-shares, HK, JP, UK) or a crypto check-in. Reminders are local notifications and sync across devices via iCloud for Pro users.

US stocks (NYSE, NASDAQ), China A-shares (SSE, SZSE), Hong Kong (HKEX), Japan (TSE), UK (LSE), European markets and major cryptocurrencies, plus ETFs, bonds, mutual funds (including Chinese funds via Tiantian Fund), options, futures, and gold and silver spot prices.

FolioX Pro subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel. You keep Pro features until the end of the current billing period.
