By downloading, installing, or using FolioX ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Nature of the Service
FolioX is a portfolio tracking tool for informational purposes only. The app is designed to help you organize and monitor your investment holdings. FolioX is not a broker, financial advisor, or investment platform. The app does not facilitate, execute, or recommend any trades or investment decisions.
Not Financial Advice
Nothing in FolioX constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All market data, prices, calculations, and portfolio metrics displayed in the app are provided for informational reference only. You should consult qualified financial professionals before making investment decisions.
Market Data Disclaimer
Market data displayed in FolioX is sourced from third-party providers and is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Prices may be delayed by 15 minutes or more depending on the market. We do not guarantee that quoted prices reflect actual current market values. FolioX shall not be liable for any losses arising from reliance on market data displayed in the app.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of the holding and transaction data you enter
- Maintaining backups of your data (via iCloud sync or other means)
- Using the app in compliance with applicable laws
- Verifying any portfolio calculations against your actual brokerage statements
Apple Standard EULA
Your use of FolioX is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for Licensed Applications, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. In the event of a conflict between these terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall prevail with respect to matters within Apple's scope.
Subscriptions
FolioX Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's subscription policies. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FolioX and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or investment returns, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of FolioX shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Intellectual Property
FolioX, including its design, code, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.
Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue the app or any feature at any time. Since all data is stored locally on your device, discontinuation of the app does not result in loss of your data (though you would need to export it before removing the app).
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
